http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS – The brand Songzio proves black is back at Paris Men Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013 where the Korean designer presented a “dark” collection inspired by the idea to “portray a young poet’s heart inspired by the spring breeze.” Not sure exactly what that means or how it relates, but what we do know is that the collection was full of exquisite fabrics, details, and tailoring, regardless of the fact it was dark purple, black, white, and gray. You could say it was a bit romantic in that dark Edgar Allan Poe sort of way, with opened collars and a floral corsage or a wide obi belt in the Oriental style. There was also tougher leather, to show the juxtaposition between masculinity and romance. The shoes were inspired by traditional Korean men’s shoes.
Giovanni Comments: I am in love with the jackets from this collection. Very well done.
