HOW TO OVERCOME GYM SHYNESS|Gym Talk
Gym talk is an open community of like-minded individuals on a quest to unlock our fitness potential, and today’s topic is about how to overcome gym shyness. I am not a shy person but found the challenge of considering going to the gym through someone else’s eyes and decided to chime in with my thoughts on how to overcome gym shyness.
1. Find a space away from the primary population that allows you to be you without feeling like all eyes are watching you.
2. Take things slowly and find your pace with assimilating into the first population. This, not a population contest.
3. Find a partner that you feel comfortable going to the gym with. They will help ease your shyness naturally.
