A single key on a counter would not provoke hatred to most people, but consider for a moment if you are the person locked out of your apartment simply because you are gay. I took this picture at 11:40pm after going to retrieve some things from my car. My roommate noticed me outside unlocked the door and took the key inside. Before I would simply have seen this oversight as a simple mistake, but this is the 7th time he has done this. I decided to start taking pictures of his disrespect so I can look back on this a year from now and see how I survived.This is number 8 lock out and counting. He was issued a eviction notice on 5 Mar 2012. He has 45 days to leave. I just have to survive until then.
