It all started when...

Born during the 1970s, Giovanni's childhood consisted of living with brother to siblings, always fighting about shopping with his mother. Giovanni was not a great athlete during his childhood. Playing ball with the local kids was something he dreaded. Giovanni's mother had enough to pick Giovanni up from school and send him to sports practice, so she enrolled Giovanni into theater and chorus classes at age four. Giovanni excelled in theater, going on to earn multiple lead parts by fourteen years old. Giovanni didn't like that he couldn't go shopping with his mom anymore because of his extracurricular activities, but he loved theater and learning from others stronger than himself. Giovanni learned the importance of life through discipline, respect, honor, and determination, which helped developed Giovanni's character as an adult. Giovanni began working jobs at sixteen to gain extra spending money for new sneakers or video games as he got older.

After graduating from high school, Giovanni joined the military. Giovanni was a navy corpsman, which is a medical specialist that helps the Marines during combat missions. Giovanni spent twelve years on active duty before he got discharged. Giovanni learned to love helping his fellow soldiers with their wounds and caring for them. Giovanni wanted to keep doing it after leaving the military but didn't think he could because of his age, and learning how to run a business would take time. Giovanni decided to go back to school to learn technology. Giovanni spends his days working as an IT consultant and runs Diablos Way at night, managing websites for independent game developers across the country. Giovanni loves bringing indie games from small studios directly into gamers' hands while saving 60-80% off retail pricing by cutting out intermediaries.

Giovanni has lived a large portion of my life as an introvert. Giovanni has been social in the past but now focuses on building the best product for his clients. Giovanni is constantly learning, growing, and developing. Giovanni once gave himself a goal to learn five new things every day. Giovanni still tries to do that today, but it's harder as he gets older.

For the last year, Giovanni has been working as a web developer for Diablos Way, which helps small game developers like Gopher Broke Games reach their customer base efficiently and cost-effectively. Giovanni can help these indies in more ways than just website development: Giovanni can make sure they're making money from each sale or download of their games through app stores by building client-side price calculations right into the code so that customers are charged exactly what they owe, including tax and shipping without any hidden fees.
