Unplug the life support

It was many months coming and it finally came to a peaceful end, but not without constant interruptions.  I am no longer a United States Sailor by occupation, but it will take many years to take the sailor out of me.  I have been employed as a US Sailor for over 10 years.  It’s ironic that since 1997 I have followed my dream of being a sailor that finally ended yesterday afternoon.  It was not as said as I felt it was going to be, nor did it tug at my heart with as much depth as I thought it would.  It was a simple process and it was all over.  I would like to take this time to thank some of the people that made me as strong, organized and ready for the civilaian world as I currently find myself.   I would like to thank many of my leaders that worked many hours with me, grooming my mind and my spirit to achieve sucess with your people despite what others may think.  I would like to thank my friends that pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of.  I am truly blessed to have you in my life.

I wanted to take a special moment to thank my family.  You guys were there for me through many deployments, many days and nights of trying to figure out where my life was going and I must thank my dad for stepping in and giving me the “ the boot of love” to get me back on track when I had strayed.  Without my family, 10 years of dedicated service would not have been possiable.  I  love you all.So now you may ask what’s next for me right?  Well do not worry, first i am going to take a well deserved break during the holidays then I plan to work again in the coming weeks.Till we speak again, take care and be blessed
