Daily Journaling-Blogging To My Future

Blogging To My Future SelfI am not a professional blogger or writer. I am normal everyday guy who goes to work daily and lives a pretty normal average life. Several years I have been bouncing back and forth between Facebook, Twitter and Wordpress searching for one social network that will allow me to update different aspects of my life to my small following of family, friends and acquaintances that want to know what I am up too. So what is a guy to do to help track all the things that swirl around in his mind daily that need to be placed on the web for infinite keeping? Journaling daily has become a habit (thanks to reading Zen Habits) however I struggled with toting my journal around with me and found keeping a journal on my smartphone much easier and convenient. Why blog ? Why not just post my random thoughts on Facebook (like this post) or limit my thought process to 140 characters? Facebook is great for sharing information with family, but it lacked the search options for post I have made 2 years ago for example. I wanted to be able to find my thoughts when I am ready and though Facebook is currently working on this option. I decided to keep my journal on Wordpress, alongside of my daily thoughts. Twitter is as blast to keep in touch with others outside of my network but again the challenge of finding a specific tweet based on the subject is sorely lacking.Obstacles will always be present, but I decided to keep track of what obstacles I will face moving forward with make this blog my home for digital recording:1. I have no idea what to blog about. (Topics, Activities, Achievements)2. Time-What time will I commit in my day to writing my blog daily 3. FocusI know many of my followers have been writing blogs for many years, but please be patient with me as I a moving into a new life online. Before I go I have a questions for you (since you decided to read to the end of this post.) What topics do you find most enjoyable when reading a blog? This e-mail, including attachments, may include confidential and/orproprietary information, and may be used only by the person or entityto which it is addressed.
